Labrador Inuit Film Pioneers
In 1892, a group of Inuit from Zoar, Nain, Okak, and Hebron left Labrador to work as ethnographic performers in the United States and Europe. The story of their work in Europe is still emerging but Jim Zwick and (soon) Nigel Markham (will) have written about their work in the United States.
