Music

My music work spans advocacy, teaching, production, and performance. Most recently, that work has centred on production for the OKâlaKatiget Society in the form of a forthcoming album of historic recordings and with my colleague Ian Foster who works in contemporary rock and classical genres.

Production work

Since 2021 I have worked with Ian Foster to co-produce two of his recent albums. Nerve (2024) is a classical crossover album. Close to the Bone (2023) is a rock album. These links will take you to Apple Music.

Labrador Moravian work

Since 2011, I have been involved in supporting the distinct tradition of Labrador Inuit brass playing in Nunatsiavut. I have travelled and performed with Nainip Tittulautingit | Nain Brass Band on stages in Canada and Germany. I helped to produce their self-titled album, released in 2017, and co-produced and performed on Trumpet Hymns | Imgiguset, a recording of ten tenor and trumpet duets featuring vocalist Karrie Obed. King Nancy

Between 2001 and 2015 I was the guitarist for St.John’s/Toronto-based rock band King Nancy. Our three commercially released albums are available on most streaming platforms. These links will take you to Apple Music.
