In early 2025, I curated At Home Amongst the Furthest Things—Greenland Film for Kino Rex in Bern, Switzerland. Presented in connection with the exhibition Greenland. Everything Changes at the ALPS Alpine Museum of Switzerland, the program explored the cinematic idea of Greenland and its place in the Northwest Atlantic.
Bringing together historical and contemporary feature films and shorts, the series considered Greenland both as a distant place imagined by outsiders and as home represented by Kalaallit filmmakers. I wrote an accompanying essay for the program, published by Kino Rex in German translation and in the original English.
